Narrative
FORT DODGE, IA – A 16-year-old girl died Tuesday night after losing control of her vehicle and crashing in northern Webster County.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. along Loomis Park Drive on the northwestern side of Fort Dodge. This is about 96 miles northwest of Des Moines.
Police say the teen driver left the roadway and hit a tree. She died at the scene of the accident.
Medics airlifted one of two 16-year-old female passengers to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The other teen girl did not require hospitalization.
