POLK CO., IA – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims of a fatal crash near Pleasant Hill on Saturday, December 23rd.
Emergency responders discovered the men inside a burning 2014 Infiniti Q50 on Highway 65 just after midnight.
Witnesses reported the vehicle had been traveling at a high speed before the accident, citing excessive speed, wet roadways, and fog as potential contributing factors.
Sean Pattschull, 22, of Norwalk, and his passenger, Nicholas Chescher, 25, of Fontana, California, were pronounced dead at the scene.
