MADISON CO., IA – One person sustained injuries Sunday in a two-vehicle collision along the highway between Winterset and Desoto in north-central Madison County.
The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 69, about 45 miles southwest of Des Moines.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the crash, which involved a motorcycle and an SUV.
Medics airlifted a man to a Des Moines area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
It’s unclear if anyone else was hurt in the collision.
The accident likely created delays along Highway 69 north of Winterset while emergency teams worked at the scene.
