DAVIS CO., IA – Medics airlifted one person with serious injuries Sunday after a solo motorcycle crash along the highway in central Davis County.
The incident happened at 1:50 p.m. along Highway 63 near 180th Street. This is just north of Bloomfield and east of Drakesville.
Police say a motorcyclist lost control and crashed when the bike’s tire blew out.
The passenger on the bike sustained life-threatening injuries.
The driver sustained minor injuries, and it’s unclear they required hospitalization.
